Hi! guys i have downloaded the mandriva live 10 CD from the linux.com and i have Xp installed on my system and i have a partition on my HDD(20GB) for installation of live mandriva. I have choosen textual install and i have given the preferences but the screen becomes white and the system hangs. Nothing works for much time. Can anyone please tell me. I am new to linux.
Mandriva 10?? Are you sure? The current version is Mandriva One 2009! If you are indeed trying to install 10 then I suggest you head over to here: Download Mandriva One and install this version instead.
Ah ok, why are you using the text install? It would be better to see if the live distro actually works on your system by allowing it to load, then install it from the icon on the desktop.
