Question unable to install LYNX

hi...
i am having a problem in installing lynx.....
i am trying to install from my login...
By givin
./configure
and
make
[as per the installation notes]
but when i am giving "man lynx"
its giving no manual entry found
waiting for the reply......

The common steps to install a package from source is:
./configure
make
make install.

I think that u havn't run the command *make install*. Then only the binary and manual pages get copied to the standard locations.
