Question Unable to install java plugin for Mozilla firefix in centos

Hi there,

I'm trying to install java plugin for mozilla firefox web browser installed in Centos OE. I have gone through some of the forums and found out there should be a symbolic link created for the plugin file inside the 'plugins' directory of Mozilla home directory. But I am afraid I cant find the java plugin file anywhere in the system.Java is installed in the system and the version is 'jre-7u5-linux-i586.rpm'

Please suggest the way around.

Assuming you are using a 32 bit OS, you should create a symbolic link from /usr/java/jre1.7.0_05/plugin/i386/ns7/ to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/

If you are using a 64-bit OS, change the link to /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/
