Unable to get sounds INTEL 915GLVG Board

Hi,this is Sathya
am using RedHat Linux 9.0
my system configuration is
Intel Pentium 4 Processor 2.66 GHz,
Intel 915 GLVG Original MotherBoard,

am unable to get sounds in my system, at the time of shutting down my linux it gives replay as " audio mixer : FAILED ",

and

am unble to connect INTERNET by using LINUX, send me some tips.

first of all go to http://atrpms.net and download latest alsa-driver,libasound,alsa-libs and alsa-utils rpms installed.then run alsaconf it will get ur sound detected.

for ur information redhat 9 is an old distro,get latest Fedora core 5 installed.

regarding internet connection,u can easily setup a dial-up or adsl internet connection in RH/Fedora.in redhat,a configuration utlitity,run this and configure:
