Unable to fetch mail via POP3 from Novell server

Hey all,

I'm trying to pull some mail down email from a Novell Netware email server via mail fetch in Squirrelmail, and I'm running into a very odd problem. I set up the server's IP address (internal network), username and password, and I try to log in. The system hangs for a little while, maybe 30 seconds, then comes back with this error:

Login Failed: POP3 last: Error []

It does this each and every time. I don't have any idea what this error means or what to even look at to try and fix it. The Linux machine I'm trying to pull mail down from is running Fedora Core 1 with everything updated. Normal mail works great through it... I just can't get it to pull down the old mail from the Novell box.

Anyone possibly have any suggestions on what to try here?
