Smile Unable to eject CD

Hi Friends,

I'm using RHEL4 and i am facing some issues using CDROM. I used umount -l to unmount the CDrom as it was not getting unmounted and showing Device busy error, Using umouint -l /media/cdrecorder1 command i was able to umount the cd.

But now the issues is i am able to mount and unmount the cd with root account and even eject the cd using root account. But when a normal user try to eject by using eject command it throws the below error,

Error:eject: unable to eject, last error: Invalid argument

And users are not able to eject the CD and i need to login as root and do that for them.
Can any one help me if they know about it and how to resolve it, and also some times after mounting the cd i'm unable to view the contents of the CD and all this problems started after using umount -l command and doing a lazy unmount.
Please let me know how this issue can be fixed.

Thanks in Advance,
Praveen Peddi.

Try it

use udev
it could be find in /sbin
now type this command ...
gksu mount /dev/cdrom0 /mnt && nautilus /mnt
********
gksu umount /dev/cdrom0

you can use your desired file manager , here i use nautilus !
similarly you can use different mount point..
see man udev ....
Hope it will work !!!!
