Unable to do the Samba

I just upgraded my Slack to the newest version with swaret. I used to be able to type in "smb:\" in Konqueror's address bar and browse my local network. However, now when I do it, I get the following message:
Quote:
An error occurred while loading smb:\:

Internal Error
Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org
Unknown error condition in stat: Network is unreachable
Does this mean that the samba browser is not running? How do I start it?

Any suggestions are appreciated
