Unable to connect Vnc server.
 

hi everyone ,
im using centos 5.10. i'm trying to do acess it remotely from a windows pc using vnc viewer on windows. im only able to control or acess the desktop if the user in centos box is logged in.when users not logged in i was not able to connect. error message connection refused with error code (100061).please help friends

Give more details about the vnc server you run. Difficult to know what may be the issue. Are you running vino? Did you keep the tick next to the line saying "you must confirm each access to this machine" on it's default, did you open ports on your firewall 5900 and the respective display 5901 etc. Are you connecting to the correct display? Is the vnc server running or is the process only started when a user logs in?
