unable to connect to X

Hello It's my 1st time in here and I hope you guys can help me out with this annoying problem I've got.

I'm running on KDE 3.3 and Debian Sarge 3.1

I've installed kdevelop3 (and kdelibs4-dev) and when I want to run the application from the shell here's the error message I receive:

Code:

dhcppc0:/home/ivw# kdevelop3
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

kdevelop3: cannot connect to X server :0.0

I really don't know how to make it out with this one.

It also happens when I want to launch other applications as mozilla-firefox, thunderbird or even Kbear.

Can some one of you help me out and suggest a solution?

Thank you,

Ivan
