Recently I have been unable to add podcast or music to my clementine. I use Slackware 14.2 I have an old Toshiba c655.
I have mounted my ipod to /mnt/ipod. When I right click a podcast and choose copy to device, nothing happens (no messages or anything)
When I copy music to device I see on the bottom a message that says organize files and it loads up to 100%. I right click on device and safely eject. But no new music.
Not sure whats going on. It seemed the last time it worked was a couple of days ago. I do know i removed playonlinux but I did not remove any dependencies. So not sure whats going on.
Try right clicking on the podcast or music that you want, copy it than go to your ipod and open the folder that you would place the music or podcast in and right click; paste.
The current version of Clementine is 1.3.1. Do you have the current version?
Right clicking on the podcast or music doesnt give me copy with the exception of copy to device. Nothing is happening though.
What is strange is on another computer that has Linux Mint 18 the same thing occurs even when using a different ipod. I am not sure what is going on. The ipod is mounted when I open up clementine and double click on apple ipod. It shows that it mounts, but no way of getting new music or podcast on it. I have tried to drag the podcast to the device. Not sure what is going on.
I checked out the link concerning the issue with glib. I have libpackagekit-glib2-16 and libdbus-glib2.0-cil on the Linux Mint machine.
Very bizarre. I am wondering if I need to just invest in an mp3 player and give up ipods.
