Angry umount problem

sometimes when i try to umout cdrom i get following error umount: /media/cdrom: device is busy

i checked that no term is active other than this one and that i am not using the command from iinside the /cdrom .... i dont know waht to do .. plz suggest

And you also try at the command line a simple: eject

It is very likely that something is using your CDROM drive. You can close all the windows that might be using it and then try again. Or you can reinit your X session... that will very likely solve it :P

yeah it got solved ... thnx buddiies ..actually there was a terminal using it in all the cases ..
