Ugly fonts in Midnight Commander (screenshot)

I've just created Fedora Core custom installation CD with minimal set of packages (without X and related rpms). It installs system well but applications like midnight commander (mc), dialog looks ugly.

Here are screenshots:

Do you know what could be the reason of this and how fix this? Thank you in advance!!!

P.S. 'mc -a' doesn't change anything.
