ubuntu i386iso
have this pen used for small laptop, can I use this usbstick 12.04 OS also for new desktop pc without OS or should this only work with iso disc ?

You'll need to clarify what you mean. If you have a bootable Ubuntu on a flash drive it should work on other computers if you can boot from usb. If you just have the iso file downloaded to the flash drive, no unless you have Grub2 installed on that machine in which case you would need to manually configure the grub.cfg which you don't seem to have.

You can make a pendrive bootable using software unetbootin or similar one.
If you have bootable usb stick of ubuntu 12.04, you can boot into ubuntu 12.04using any desktop or laptop if you choose option boot from usb.
Generally the default option is boot from hard disk so you will have to choose it manually.

Thank you for your quick reply. Yes I have a bootable pen made with unetbootin forgot about the name of ap. I just wondered if every new pc (don't have it yet) can boot up with this, the desktop has a celeron G1620 4 GB 500GB ram. Is this possible with each PC desktop ?

If the computer is capable of booting from a usb, it should boot.
