Ubuntu Gmail Notifier
I'm using Ubuntu Breezy Badger (5.10). The OS is awesome! However, I made a bonehead move, and am now having problems.

I installed gmail-notifier using Synaptic Package Manager through the system menu. I had it working perfectly. Then, I decided to try to move the location of the gmail-notifier icon in the menubar, and deleted it completely. Now, I can't seem to get it back. I am sure that the program is still running because a pop-up window appears when new mail arrives.

Does anyone know how to add the gmail notifier icon to the menu bar in Ubuntu? Note: I know that I can add a gmail-notifier launcher icon to the taskbar; but this is not what I want. I am looking for the icon that changes color based on whether or not there is new mail in your inbox.

Thank you in advance for your help.

The easy and slow way: create a user account with the same priviliges as yours, copy your files to the new account, delete your old account, make another one with the same loginname and copy the files back to your home dir. The GUI setting will get restored to default and everything will be all right.
