Ubuntu downloads i386 version of all packages on chrome and firefox
Hi,
I'm running ubuntu 11.04 unity on a custom build, intel i7 processor.
Until today everything was working fine. Now, whenever I download any package, it downloads the i386 version. I've had this build for 3 days. the problem started after I installed wine.
I've tested on firefox and chrome, and neither works. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Oh ok, glad you fixed it! What was the fix, if you don't mind me asking? We would all like to know. Also, if that fully resolved your issue, please mark your thread as [SOLVED] using the thread tools located at the top of the page. Thanks!
ubuntu software center had the description of all packages, even already installed ones as wrong architecture, i386. reinstalling software center seemed to do the trick.
