UBUNTU::Compile a Kernel module


Hello people,
I need to know what all I need to do
to compile a kernel module for a device driver.
I am on UBUNTU Breezy Badger kernel 2.6X

Please provide me with the necessary steps to do the same.

you do not need to do this. please stick to one thread at a time. use the 8139too module and you should be fine.

But..there was no one responding to it.

you've not asked a question anywhere else... i said that the module looks to have loaded ok. i also gave pointers and requests for additional information which you have not responded to.
