Ubuntu 15.04 Install issues using Java and NetBeans.
 

I recently tried to install Java 8 from the Oracle web site:

using the install option that loads both NetBeans and
jdk-8u101-linux-x64.tar.gz. I think I need to
remove it and reinstall again. I am thinking I can not just reinstall it over the recent install but not sure. Is there a percedure to do that without creating new problems?

Why is this? Did something happen during the installation process? Also, the web page you mentioned came back with an error: "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED." Do you have another address? ;)
