UAE Sound Static-y

When I run uae, the sound is very static-y. At first, I needed to install oss-compat for /dev/dsp to even be available. I have alsa installed on the computer right now, and still, uae's sound isn't right. Sound everywhere else works fine. My computer is a clamshell ibook g3 laptop. I have tried different sound settings in the emulator. According to my mixer the sound card is a powermac DACA. Here's what uae said regarding sound:
Code:
Mono sound no longer supported, switching to stereo.
Sound driver found and configured at 44100 Hz, buffer is 2048 bytes (11 ms).
I think it has something to do with the configured HZ but I am not sure. Or maybe I need to increase the buffer size? Does anyone know how to do that?
