Two MPlayer related questions
 

1) There is a key "." which makes "step forward": go to next frame. Is there a "go to previous frame"? How can i change the key for "step forward"? Which command from cmd_list should i use in input.conf?

2) Is there a mplayer skin which shows the current frame?

try typing man mplayer in terminal to get the keyboard commands for your version of mplayer. Dont know about the skin.

U can use these keys
<- or -> seek backward/forward 10 seconds
up or down seek backward/forward 1 minute
pgup or pgdown seek backward/forward 10 minutes
< or > step backward/forward in playlist
p or SPACE pause movie (press any key to continue)
q or ESC stop playing and quit program
Hope it will solve your probs... Don't know abt the skin.
