Two domains, one IP address, two servers

How would I do this? Is it possible to configure Apache through virtual hosts to redirect all traffic going to a certain domain to another local IP address (which would be another computer running a web server)? Or would that have to be done outside of apache? Or am I completely off my rocker and this isn't doable?

You can use the apache proxy module:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/mod/mod_proxy.html
