Two bootsplash problems

I just installed bootsplash. I have the following two problems:

1. When I boot the first console uses the theme I have selected but the rest use the first theme in my /etc/bootsplash/themes/. The truth is I might have set it before when I was testing my configuration but I don't remember if/what I did. The sure thing is my kernel is re-installed along with its initrd.img which I bootsplashed from the beggining (so it contains only one theme).
What should I configure to have the same theme to all consoles?

2. The first time the xserver starts the keyboard input is in console #2. If a press a key (it prints many strange characters in tty2) and click a button in KDM there is a big delay. The only thing I can do is close X (console mode) and wait about 15 sec. Then xserver auto restarts with the right keyboard input!
Anybody know what is wrong here?

Can somebody help me please?

I found (for prob #2) that Xfree use tty2 (not tty7 as it should). That happens with the bootsplash enabled.
