tvtime - what's the current status?

So I had thought about taking my main workstation at the home office and converting over to Win, simply so that I'd get iTunes and some other junk to make life with crappy devices easier.

Then I realized, as I was trying to do the install, all of the stuff that I would be missing...

Bonded ethernet adapters - no can do.
libdvdcss / libdvdread / libdvdplay support - forget about it.
Batch ripping / encoding / transcoding / etc. goodies for media files - not with any kind of ease.

Then came the simplest, but most aggravating - a TV Viewer app. There's no tvtime for Win, and ChrisTV and others just PALE in comparison.

Needless to say - I immediately jumped back to my Fedora Core 14 Desktop with joy and elation!

But I'm left wondering what the current status of tvtime is - it hasn't had a release in 5 years! That's a long time - a very long time.

I mean, yes, it's a good app. and I don't think it needs any work, but at least a 'maintenance release' to show "hey, yup, we're still here in case it ever needs any updates" or something.

Kaffeine, Xine and VLC support DVB-S, so there's no reason to use unsupported software.
