Tuxedo Installation

We are in the process of converting all of our Solaris Systems to Red Hat.

I do not have much experience with Tuxedo.

Does anyone know of a good guide for configuring tuxedo on RHEL 6? I got it installed, but am a little lost with the configuration. Anything will help thanks.

this is Oracle's Tuxedo

and this IS redhat 6.4 and NOT Oracle's rebuild

Oracle's 6.4 linux is explicitly optimized to run Oracle's DB and applications

you have read the documentation from Oracle ? right ?
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/mi...iew/index.html
what version are you using

Tuxedo is a transaction processing system or transaction-oriented middleware, or enterprise application server for a variety of systems and programming languages.
What exactly are your dependency on Tuxedo for this change ?

Yes we are running RedHat 6.4 - I know our application depends on it. The problem I'm facing specifically is the sysctl settings coupled with the TUXCONFIG/UBBCONFIG. One of our application folks sent me an error he was receiving about semaphore limits being set too low and MAXACCESSERS to high.

When I look for recommended settings I don't really find much in the way of sysctl; however, I did read about setting UBBCONFIG and then doing tmloadcf -c UBBCONFIG within the oracle documentation. This apparently gives you values which you can then map on the specific data sheet, but it just refers you to the sysctl man page....

Anyways...ty for the help.

Also we are using 12c
