Turning mplayer into gmplayer

This should be a quick one I hope.

I have installed MPlayer, but would like to add the GUI for it now...
How do I do that I have all the required files in the right places).

Thanks,

-Riddick

You will have to compile mplayer to have gui support. So change to the directory the source code is in and do this:
Code:
./configure --enable-gui
make
su
make install
And then after you do that, put all the skin files and fonts into the correct folders like you did before, and then run 'gmplayer'.

yeah but I've already done all of that WITHOUT --enable-gui.
If I do that now, ./Configure is fine, but when I do make,
it says:

Nothing to be done for `all'.

So I kind of need to reinstall it.

Thanks,

gmplayer

While ./configure --enable-gui

Code:
mplayer.c: In function `main':
mplayer.c:3804: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

I'm sorry, I will rephrase.

Navigate to the directory where you installed MPlayer from.

Uninstall MPlayer with the command: make uninstall

---

Next recompile MPlayer, this time with --enable - gui

Code:
./configure --enable-gui
make
su
make install
Basically, uninstall and reinstall (with gui support).

Hope that clears things up a bit.

Good luck!

Mike
