Turbonote on linux or a similar application
 
Hi guys,
Is there anyway to run that win app called 'TurboNote' on linux ?
Or Is there any other app that does the same stuff ?

There are many ways to do that.

I don't use such fancy things, but I am sure that superkaramba and gdesklets might have applet to do so. The compiz alike (screenlets) might also have such functionality. I don't really know.

You also have standalone programs like tomboy or knotes. I am sure that there are lots more around.

I don't use this kind of programs, so I can't really tell you the differences between them, or which one would be more close to turbonote. Check them and see if one of them can fit you.

But it might communicate with others machines in my network.. there is the problem

Can you elaborate a bit on that? I thought it was just a post-it alike. What network functionalities do you need?

If the Windows version is your only chance, you can try running it using Wine. I wouldn't, but it's up to you..
