Trying to run firefox behind a proxy

I'm running firefox on my linux PC behind a proxy that I have set up on my Windows Laptop. When I go to tree or four different websites Firefox keeps displaying google.com insted of the webpage I want to go to. The Proxy software I'm using is AnalogX and it seems to work fine when I'm using my Konqueror.
