Trying to run a half-life dedicated server

I am trying to run a half-life dedicated server. At the moment, I am just trying to get it to work over the lan.
I think I have installed everything correctly including making a link to libhlwon.so.

I try to start the server as follows,

# ./hlds_run +sv_lan 1 +ip 192.168.1.100

Auto-restarting the server on crash
Host_Init
Added packfile /home/games/hlds_l/valve/pak0.pak (985 files)
Protocol version 46
Exe version 3.1.1.0
Exe build: 14:46:34 Jun 11 2002 (2056)
Auth Server
Server IP address 192.168.1.100:27015

Everything then stops and I have to [CTRL]+C to get back to the command line.

Anyone know what is wrong?

(server is behind a firewall which assigns the internal address via DHCP)

Many thanks
