Trying to install PhotoShare 0.151 - alpha build

I am running mandriva 2006, and i want to install this program located here: http://flyer.modpages.com/softwares/6/photoshare.html

After extraction its a single file that i have no clue what to do with. Did some searches on alpha, but still am clueless. The site gives very little info on installation. Can anyone give me a kick in the butt, and get me started on how to get started on installation. I know i may need some additional packages to get it running, but i cant even get started on installing this app. Thanks everyone in advance for any help you can give.

Info provided by site

- On Linux, if you get "error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file directory," you need to install an additional compatibility library.
PhotoShare is built using GCC 3.3.6 for greater compatibility with as many Linux distributions as possible. If you are using a newer distribution based on GCC 4.0, you will need to install some compatibility libraries.
Packages required:
Debian-based (including Ubuntu): libstdc++5
rpm-based (including Fedora 4): compat-libstdc++-33

Basic Installation (root privileges may be required)
Using apt-get: apt-get install libstdc++5
Using yum: yum install compat-libstdc++-33
