Trying to install a new splash theme
 

I am trying to install a new splash theme by following these instructions https://sourceforge.net/docman/displ...roup_id=187765

also here...
cd
cd Desktop
sudo cp usplash-theme-fingerprint.so /usr/lib/usplash
sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so usplash-artwork.so /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-theme-fingerprint.so 10
sudo update-alternatives --config usplash-artwork.so

but where I get to sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so

I get this message: "evan@evan-laptop:~/Desktop$ sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so usplash-artwork.so 10
update-alternatives: --install needs <link> <name> <path> <priority>

Usage: update-alternatives [<option> ...] <command>"
and it continues with commands

Any ideas??
