You don't mention which distro you are using but the icon in your post says you posted from Mint.

Wine is in the Mint repos and can be installed with Mint's package manager.

Code:
$ sudo apt-get install wine
I use Mint everyday and wine installed without issue.

Each distro usually offers a way to properly install programs. That is usually called package or software management. Use it to find and install apps first in all cases.

Then if you don't or can't find it use the official web page. www.winehq.org/ is the place to start then.

If you want Linux software, your first thought shouldn't be to browse the web and download it manually. Use your package manager instead (In Mint, there is a nice GUI package manager in the start menu, I forgot how it's called).

It's not at all like Windows's "Add/Remove Sowtware", which in reality only removes software.
