TrueCrypt — disabling redundant mounting questions

Hi LQ.org! When you mount TrueCrypt volume with command line, you get questions like "Enter keyfile" and "Protect hidden volume". I was wondering if it's possible to disable them? Quick Google search didn't help.

Hi Alex
The purpose of Truecrypt (and other encryption programs) is to protect your data from prying eyes. If there is no need of the encryption just restore it to where ever you feel is safe and don't worry about turning off (or bypassing) the request for keyfile, etc..

I didn't mean to disable password protection. When I mount TrueCrypt volume I enter password and then leave second and third questions empty. So volume is protected. And I need it to be protected with encryption.

So is there any way to disable those questions? Maybe in a script somehow? So the only thing I will be asked when mounting encypted volume is a password.

Read the Truecrypt documentation.
