True Type fonts

Hello,
I installed the msttcorefonts rpm, and the installation finished properly, but I was under the impression that after I install this, those fonts will be available for all of my applications. The main reason I installed this was for GAIM, but it appears that the same fonts are available as before. Is there something additional I have to do to make these fonts accessable?

Depends, might have to restart X. Or not, try this, see if it works:
