troubles compiling SDLMame on 64 bits

Hi!

I'm having troubles compiling SDLMame with 64 bits support (on Debian AMD64) :

root@neptune:~/tmp/mame/sdlmame/sdlmame0128# LC_ALL=C make
Compiling src/emu/cpu/m68000/m68kmake.c...
src/emu/cpu/m68000/m68kmake.c:1: error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64 instruction set
src/emu/cpu/m68000/m68kmake.c:1: error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64 instruction set
make: *** [obj/sdl/mame/emu/cpu/m68000/m68kmake.o] Error 1

Do you have an idea ?

Many thanks.

Regards,
R. O.

This is kinda old, but I am running SlamD64 on AMD 64. I didn't have any trouble with SDLMame. I'm having trouble finding a frontend that works and I can get compiled.

Maybe you should try to get 0129.
