Trouble with xfree86setup

Hallo! =)
I'm using Slackware Linux... and I've now got my NIC functioning but also reinstalled Linux since I took a lot of unnecessary sh*t into the computer while I was fighting with the NIC drivers....
And now after the reinstallation I can't run xfree86setup. When I try I get a errormsg right after it should rename XF86Config (in / etc/X11/) to XF86Config.backup. Errormsg ::
Fatal server error

XFree86 has found a valid card configruation.
Unfortunately the appropriate data has not been added to xf86PciInfo.h
Please forward 'scanpci -v' output to XFree86 support team.

I guess the support team has some mails to answer (I know supports use to have, I'm working at one)... so I thought I could try get some help here first.... =)

It may be that your card is not suported (not very likely), or XF86Config configuration is seriously broken. Could you get an example configuration file and try with it? Try with one with standard SVGA driver.
