Trouble with Wine and "The Sims"
 

Why won't my install program for "The Sims" start? It's on a cd, and I chdir to /mnt/cdrom/ and type "wine start.exe", but it just sits there with the hard drive cranking away (for more than fifteen minutes). I also tried "wine notepad" because it is built in, but same thing happens. What's the deal?

Sure, but it's really simple....

I just wasn't waiting long enough... It seemed alot longer than what it really was.
