Trouble with keyboard and mouse scrollwheel (moderator :: plz delete this)

Hallo again... ;)
I thought I could fix this by my own without the xfree86setup (since I am the one having trouble with it....)... But it doesn't seem like I can.... =/
I want swedish keyboard instead of a us keyboard... So I went into /etc/X11/XF86Config and changed from 101 to 104 keys and from us to se at the layout....
Unfortunately it didn't become any better... =( So now I'm wondering if anyone now what I should write at the layout instead, because I guess it's there something is wrong. I've counted the keys and they are 104.......

And now to the mouse... I got a Logitech Mouseman Wheel with 4buttons where one of them also is a scrollwheel.... I guess it's not possible to use all 4 buttons but I know some people has got the scrollwheel functioning... But I won't... And I've tried some models that I thought would be working but it doesn't... =(

Thx in advance =)

You have this in the hardware forum too, you only need it in one, whatever you think is more suitable, if you think this is more suitable then delete your other thread...it's pretty much like double posting, well i guess it is hehehe

In the bottom right hand of your post there is an 'edit' button, click on that, then there is an option to delete or edit your thread..

Thanks, yeh you should get some sleep :p

Just edit the thread saying you want it deleted and a moderator will do it soon...

in regards to your question, (i personally have never used slackware) but what happens if you boot your installation disk and get to the point where you choose your keyboard layout?

Would that work....

I know slackware is mainly manual config, but theres gotta be a control center of some sort :p

ok.. thx
well, when I ran the setup I didn't find any se-option... but a friend told me there was one... latin-se should it be, so I guess I didn't see that option...... =D
But I'll dl the newest XFree86 later today and install that so the xfree86setup should be functioning... =)
