Trouble spawning MlDonkey core
I'm having trouble in Sancho & the G2GUI with getting the core to work right. In both programs I get a messag:
"Core not found! 127.0.0.1:4001 does not accept connections It (core not found), try again?" *
At the bottom are a yes and no button. I click on yes and it takes me to a host setup manager with the host as 127.0.0.1, port as 4001, Username as admin and no password. The only choice for core protocol is mldonkey.*
First and foremost, I would like to see if I can get this core working. But secondly, I already had Sancho working without it trying to spawn the core. I configured this feature in the preferences and now it won't start. I have deleted the whole directory where Sancho resides and reextracted it from the original tar.gz with no luck. All I want to do right now is reset the configuration to the default.
Lastly--and a little off the topic--I installed KMldonkey (a KDE-frontend for Mldonkey) and that worked fine, until I right-clicked files to download them, at which point the program crashes. Any ideas? Thanks.
