Trouble installing j2sdk 1.4 for 64 bit linux

Hi... I need to install JDeveloper in my PC with 64 bit AMD and Fedora 9 running. The preferred JDK version for JDeveloper 10g is j2sdk1.4 as mentioned in the JDeveloper installation tutorials. I have been trying to install both j2sdk-1_4_2_03-linux-i586.bin and j2sdk-1_4_2_03-linux-ia64.bin (these are the only available versions in 1_4_2_03). But I have been getting the same weird checksum errors, no matter how many times I redownload and install...

Do you agree to the above license terms? [yes or no]

Has anyone faced the same issue. Googling dint get me anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

yes... ofcourse. I saw if '+473' was in some way related to file permissions, but the same error occurred even after I gave full permisions to the file and executed it.Thanks in advance...
