Trouble installing Bodhi 5 with unetbootin

I cannot seem to start the install of Bodhi from USB using netbootin. I am currently running Ubuntu 16.4 which I installed from the same flash drive so I know it's working. Unetbootin screen pops up upon starting from USB. It auto starts on default option and I see the Bodhi splash screen but afterwards it goes back to the starting menu with a terminal type thing underneath it.... (initramfs). (sorry I'm fairly new to Linux. I have tried multiple booting options on the unetbootin screen and all hang the same. Have done some searching but none specific to my problem.

Since you are already running Ubuntu I suggest using the dd command to create the bootable USB instead of Unetbootin.

I tried DD methods using said flash drive and it wouldn't boot. Was stuck at a blinking cursor. Tried afew different other things with it as well to no avail.

However, when I tried my ooold 2g flash drive using the Dd method it booted and worked perfectly.

My newer one is a 16gb. I don't see how that would make a difference but regardless, my problem is solved. Thank you. Glad to switch from Ubuntu, only due to laptop hardware. Using the XFCE environment wasnt bad (I tried it when Bodhi wouldn't install at first just to try) but in glad I switched. Even in the live environment it ran faster than anything else. And cut down majorly on boot time.
