Trouble installing 3DM for 3Ware raid card

Having trouble installing the 3DM monitoring software that comes with the 8500-8 3Ware raid card I have. 3Ware so far has been unable to help me out....I'm running RH 7.3...

I tried both ./install.3dm (which the manual says) and ./install.3dm --i which 3ware replied via TT to use...both get the same error:

root@server1 [/mnt/cdrom/3DM]# ls
./ ../ 3DM_Linux.zip* 3dm-lnx.tgz* install.3dm*

root@server1 [/mnt/cdrom/3DM]# ./install.3dm --i
Unknown colorls variable `do'.

root@server1 [/mnt/cdrom/3DM]#

Any ideas??

Got the answer...I needed to type:

export LS_COLORS=""

Then the command again!
