trouble getting LDAP working on arch linux


hi,

i'm trying to get ldap up and running. after editing /etc/openldap/slapd.conf and doing /etc/rc.d/slapd restart I get this when I cat /var/log/everything.log:

any ideas about what is wrong with my system?

Hi....

Have a look at this site.....I think u would be making a mistake somewhere...Although, this site teaches samba3+openldap, it will still help u out with ur ldap configuration

I am having an identical problem to this with ldap. Were you able to get this working, and if so how?

no, I gave up and used something else instead of LDAP
