Trouble booting up after nvidia drivers install & editing XF86Config-4 file

I installed my nvidia drivers with no errors. I edited my XF86Config file (XF86Config-4) just like it says in the README instalation instructions, but when I boot up, ann it gives me the choises of Linux, Linux-No..somthin I forgot what its called, failsafe and floppy, I choose linux like I usualy do, but it starts to boot and when its done doin its stuff the screen freezes up and the bottom of the screen has a bunch of blue lines, so I have to boot into the second option, wich somtimes doesent work either. I looked through the FAQ in the readme and found nothing relatings to my situation.
Anyone know what might be wrong?

Thank you
~Kyle.

Not trying to be rude or nothing, but it is very irritating when you dont get a reply after about 4 hours.
