Trouble Booting!
 

I can't start my OS?

Last night I reconfigured my kernel to add a few modules, once I was done I restarted, but all that happened was 'LIL-' was printed on the screen and the system doesn't accept keyboard input, so the boot loader doesn't even load! Has anyone ever run into this problem before?

Did you change your /etc/lilo.conf correctly? Did you copy new System.map to its location (usually /boot/System.map),m did you specify the righjt root device in your /etc/lilo.conf? If you dont have another kernel you can boot with you will have to use a rescue disk to boot your system and check those things.

If there is only LIL- it's not a matter of kernel. It's rather LILO problem. Was there any error you started lilo?
Boot from a floppy/installation cd, make sure that /etc/lilo.conf looks good and run lilo.
