Troble Installing RH! :(

My dad gave me a fairly new computer from his office that was not "good" enough for the new microsoft server softwear, i lauged at him because linux could probly have solved that for them.. but i get the computer home and pop in the RH9 installation disk and it seems to be running fine but its loading at the begining and it went
running install.....
running /sbin/loader

and its been stuck there for hours.. any help would be appriciated.

In the bios disable plug-n-play, apm (if you have it) apci (if you have it), serial ATA (unless you have it), on-board sound (if you have it). Those seem to cause trouble. If that solves your problem, then you can add them back in one at a time.
