Question triple booting and partitioning

I am new to linux and have recently downloaded RH 7.2, I have a ~43GB harddrive and have succesfully dual booted it as follows ~4GB win 98 end cylinder is ~650, ~4GB unpartitioned space for linux, ~35GB for win2000. Both the windows partitions are fat32 and are working fine. When I try to install RH 7.2 I get an error unable to align drive? I am not sure if the way my drive is setup is correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

"Unable to align drive" is a new one to me. Did you do any strange partition shuffling with one of those partition managers?

What kind of drive controller/motherboard combination are you using?

Redhat might be complaining about partitions whose start/end points aren't aligned to cylinder boundaries. Try using the expert or custom installation mode.

I used Ranish Partition manager to set up the partitions, I have an ASUS P4T motherboard with i850 chipset and a IBM Deskstar 75 DTLA 30745 ~45GB hard drive that is ata 100 compatable.
I am not sure what the mount points are?
