transmission-qt issue

I am using openSUSE 11.2 with KDE4.4 and I am using transmission-qt (v1.92) but I am having an issue: when I click on a torrent in my browser(firefox) it asks me if I want to save or open with "transmission-qt (default)", so I pick to open and then it with open it and start downloading my torrent however if I press on another torrent and do the same thing it will open another instance of transmission and not add my new torrent to the old instance. I would like to know if there is a way I can fix this? I have looked everywhere on my system for something I can set but it just isn't working. will someone tell me if there is something I can do? I love transmission and I want to have it work right.

Thanks :)

I am not sure how to fix your issue, but what I do is I right-click on the torrent link, choose "Copy Link Address" or something like that. Then in Transmission, I choose File->Add URL and paste into the text box with the middle mouse button.

I am still having this issue even after upgrade to openSUSE 11.3. I have also upgraded to KDE 4.5 and I am now using transmission-qt v2.03... I am hope someone can help me getting this thing to work right. thank you.

After having some other issues with my system I ended up reinstalling openSUSE 11.3 as a fresh install. I did not upgrade to KDE4.5 and instead of using transmission-qt I ended up installing transmission-gtk and it seems to be working just fine.
