tovid gui error

Hi folks I have installed the tovid proggy from a tarball, also from the mandriva repostiories, but I still get this error?

[ockertom@localhost ~]$ tovidgui
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/tovidgui", line 43, in ?
frame = TovidFrame(None, wx.ID_ANY, "tovid GUI")
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/libtovid/gui/frames.py", line 30, in __init__
self.curConfig = TovidConfig()
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/libtovid/gui/configs.py", line 37, in __init__
self.ConfigInit()
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/libtovid/gui/configs.py", line 43, in ConfigInit
self.ConfigAvailFonts()
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/libtovid/gui/configs.py", line 70, in ConfigAvailFonts
if strIMFonts[im].find(strWXFonts[wxfont]) != -1:
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 5: ordinal not in range(128)
Also I have ran this from the cmd line, pretty fast well for me it was 2hrs? it seemed to do the job excellently, I followed the directions from the torvid wiki, problem is when I make the folders video_ts and Audio_ts and transfer the files into the folders I get a beautiful film and no sound lol sheesh 2 dvd's later I thinks I better find out if i am missing something, I get no errors during the conversion.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi from tovid! It's not good to hear you're having problems. Stop by the tovid forums or IRC chatroom (#tovid on chat.freenode.net) if you get a chance. There are more users there, and they may be able to offer more insight.

This bug has been fixed in the subversion repository. It will be released in tovid 0.30.

If you can post the console output, we may be able to take a deeper look into things.
