touch screen

Hi. I'm planning to buy a toshiba portege M200, it has a touch screen and I want to use linux on it. I've already searched a lot for programs that provide the same functionality as WinXP tablet edition (mouse gestures, handwriting recognition, taking notes on worddocs/PDF's,...) but I didn't find programs that were simply 'the best'. There's Lycoris, but it's not free and I would prefer to use the distribution I'm familiar with (Fedora)

is there anyone here that works with a touchscreen that can give me a list of the programs he combines to get the same functionality as WinXP tablet edition / Lycoris?

Tuxmobil.com

If you search tuxmobil.com you'll find that some people allready have innstalled linux on it, The touchscreen works, graphics works most of the hardware work except sd-card slot, this only works as a floppy emulator at boot time. Debian should work great, I'm planning on using suse9.2 on mine wich is to arrive shortly (my m200 that is) the handwriting recognition is one of the things that is superior in winxp i think, but there is no norwegian version, and I have no plan whatsoever to use crapdows ever again. Lycoris is the only complete package to tablet pcs, but most of the software (not all) is gpl and available free. I do not see the problem with paying a few dollars for the lycoris version when you allready paid thousands for your laptop. Afterall they do come too good use, and alot of what they do is gpled. I've paid good money for boxed editions before and will do it again once I'm not this broke.
