Totem DVD Player doesn't seem to want to play my disc!

Hi there,

Sorry if this comes up a lot, but I'm a total noob.... :'(

When I insert a DVD, Totem makes an attempt to access both the DVD drive and the HDD, but doesn't actually start playing the DVD. I can press the Play/Pause button as much as I like, but to no avail. What should I do to get it working?

Thanks in advance,

Mono.

You'll have to start by telling us which distro you're using.
