totem doesn't find codecs in dropline gnome
Hi all,
I have two computers with dropline gnome 2.16.2. In one, totem fires up and plays rm files on sites like npr.org. On the other it fails to find the codecs. The thing is, the codecs are there in /usr/lib/codecs.
Looking in ~/.gnome2/totem_config I notice that no path is provided for the "decoder.external.real_codecs_path:". If I add this path to the file, then run totem, it still does not work and it seems to overwrite my change because when I go back into the file the path is gone again.
Any ideas?
Brian
